Accountant Associate

Our client is looking for an Accountant Associate to join their small & thriving Practice in Helensville’s semi-rural community. Ideally, they are searching for someone seeking full-time hours; however, they are also willing to consider someone for four days per week or a job share situation. Are you that person?

You will be a qualified Chartered Accountant or have completed three years of your CA studies and will be close to qualification. You must also have completed your Taxation paper. This role would be amazing for some who wants a long-term role and has the vision to take over a semi-rural practice.

The accounts you will cover are for various sole traders and limited companies in small professional services, childcare, and agriculture. Helensville is a semi-rural community, and if you have accounting experience in the farming sector, this would be a major bonus!

You must be the sort of person who is comfortable having hard conversations with your clients and be happy to work across a solid range of accounting tasks. If this sounds like you, please Submit your CV to Marbles.

Mens/Tāne Support Worker

Our client, a family services centre in Nor-West Auckland, is looking for a Men’s/Tāne Support Worker to join their team. This would be a rewarding role for someone passionate about walking alongside men who are users of violence, helping them change damaging behaviours and break the cycle of abuse. This is an opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing quality interventions to support, empower, and advocate for people, so they’re able to reach their full potential. The services offered by this centre work on a trajectory from crisis to safety to stability and towards a flourishing community.

Are you the person for this role? You will have had 2+ years working in the field of family violence, have (or be working towards) a Bachelor’s degree specialising in Social Work, Psychology and/or Counselling qualifications and hold a full driver’s license. The role is based in Helensville and Waimauku but services a large and diverse population from Taupaki to  South Kaipara, requiring someone who enjoys travelling to meet their clients. They are seeking someone full time, however, the hours of work are negotiable – The important thing for the team is to find the right fit.

Applications close Friday 25 June. If this sounds like you, please Submit your CV to Marbles.

crisis line advocate

My client, a family services centre in Nor-West Auckland, is looking for an experienced Crisis Line Advocate to support their Family Harm Team with a 24/7 Crisis Line, Friday through to Monday.  This organisation is dedicated to providing quality interventions to support, empower, and advocate for people so they’re able to reach their full potential. The services offered by this centre work on a trajectory from crisis to safety to stability and towards a flourishing community.

Are you the person for this role? You will have had 2+ years working in the field of family violence, have (or be working towards) a Bachelor’s degree specialising in Social Work, Psychology and/or Counselling qualifications. You must also have a full driver’s license.

You will be someone brave, courageous, non-judgmental and open-minded who is ready for the challenge of developing this role into an example of best practice.  You will have the ability to work cross-culturally and inclusively and work from a pro-feminist & trauma informed position.
