TEACHER (sCALE a, yEARS 0-3) – LAKE TEKAPO SCHOOL

At Marbles, we are proud to be partnering with Lake Tekapo School to support them with the recruitment of a Scale A Teacher (Year 0-3). Lake Tekapo School is a small school located in Tekapo in the Mackenzie Basin. They provide education for Primary (1-6). This position
will be permanent for a certified teacher (Kura Tuatahi). We are seeking applications for a Term 1, 2024 commencement.  

The position would be suitable for a beginning teacher who is dedicated to best practice in their teaching and to providing learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. The local curriculum for Lake Tekapo School is focussed on building strong relationships for our students, whanau and staff.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR- LIFETECH LABORATORIES

Our client, Lifetech Laboratories, is a small and friendly business based in Albany.  They are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent and full-time basis.  This role is Monday to Friday, working from 8.30 am to 5 pm.  The position would ideally be for an immediate/early December start (but they are willing to honour any existing Christmas/New Year holidays).

About Us

Lifetech Laboratories has modern laboratory facilities producing cultures and plants for nursery customers around the world.  The company has a team of Laboratory Technicians, Research and Development Technicians, and several Team Leaders.   Reporting to the Managing Director, the Office Administrator is a critical role that provides support throughout the office from receivables and payables cycles, general administration duties, export documentation and customer liaison.

About the Role

As the Office Administrator, you are recognised as an important “front of business” representative, giving outstanding service to customers, suppliers, staff and 3rd parties.  This role ensures the smooth operation of the administration function and provides support across the business. 

Broad responsibilities include:

  • arranging outbound freight, primarily export shipments (including freight forwarder interaction, export documents, certificates and invoicing)
  • managing accounts receivable and payable cycles
  • assistance with monthly financial accounts to trial balance
  • payroll processing and HR administration
  • general office duties: stocking cupboards, ordering stationery, collecting morning tea, cleaning the office and kitchen

About You

For you to be successful in this role, you will be someone who is willing to put their hand to anything required to ensure a smooth running of the office:

Ideally, you will have:

  • experience in completing export documentation
  • a willingness to help both internal and external customers
  • experience in basic accounting administration
  • exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • used MYOB/Xero/similar and consider yourself a whizz on MS Office

Operations & dispatch coordinator – ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL

Absolute Essential, based in Auckland’s beautiful Muriwai, is a manufacturer of health and skincare products using the world’s finest essential oils.  Their vision is to make a positive and permanent difference in people’s lives.

Absolute Essential is a company committed to ensuring they have the most efficient production, manufacturing, dispatch and customer service systems.  Due to a change within the Absolute Essential team and with a review of their current systems, an opportunity has opened for an Operations & Dispatch Coordinator.  The role is set for 30 – 40 hours per week (negotiable), Monday to Friday.

This will be a varied role that will have you working across a range of tasks on any given day: order administration, dispatch, stock management, picking and packing, wrapping orders, and ordering couriers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key responsibilities for this role are to:

  • Ensure that daily orders are processed (end to end) efficiently, accurately and effectively;
  • Complete administrative and computer-based tasks with efficiency;
  • Support the manufacturing processes when required;
  • Ensure that duties are undertaken in a clean and orderly way at all times;
  • Help with any other tasks that might help the team.

No day is ever the same, and you will need to be able to manage change in a calm manner.  You will be someone with excellent attention to detail, reliable with great time management, a clear and direct communicator, can take instructions and can see other work that needs to be done.  You will have good IT skills (and be able to use Apple Mac) and have a current NZ driver’s License.

This is a physically demanding role; you will be required to be on your feet for a lot of the day, and you will need to be able to lift or carry heavy loads (up to 20kg drums) occasionally.  Therefore, being able to evidence good health is critical for this role.

This role will be remunerated between $26-32 per hour dependent on experience.
